Cindy Sherman

Sherman's photos are interested due to the motivation behind them. These photos were the result of the exploration of feminine stereotypes. The subject matter was and is very serious which adds another interest point to Sherman's artwork. Most of her works are serious and some even unsettling depictions such her one image of make-up and a woman's hand sticking out of some dirt.
